We are very excited about the longer days and bigger missions, however, please note that Whistler lift access is now closed for the season. Only access via Singing Pass Trail is currently available.
When can I book?
The Kees and Claire Hut takes bookings through our online system. (Top Right of this page). Availability is allocated on a rolling 90 day and 60 day basis. If you are a ACC or BCMC member you are allowed to book 90 days in advance when a valid member number is provided. If you are not a member, your availability is 60 days in advance.
The Spearhead Traverse is an iconic backcountry route located near Whistler, BC.
The Spearhead Huts project aims to provide an inspiring and accessible hut-to-hut experience on the West Coast.
Located at Russet Lake, the Kees and Claire Hut has already been completed. The remaining two locations have been chosen so that travel time is equal between the three, and they are accessible without having to cross a glacier in summer. Each location will offer dramatic views and excellent recreation opportunities year-round.

With 13 glaciers offering hundreds of turns, the 35-kilometre Spearhead Traverse is a classic ski tour that can rival any other in the world.
