Spearhead Huts Board of Directors

The SHS held it’s Annual General Meeting on April 6th, 2021 at 7pm via a Zoom Meeting. Following this AGM the SHS has elected a new slate for its board of Directors, with several new faces and several people who have been instrumental to the organization for several years stepping into new roles.

Andre Charland - Chairperson and President

Colin Knudsen - Treasurer and Secretary

Jayson Faulker - Director, Operations Committee Chairperson

Robin O’Neill - Director

Paul McBride - Director, Design and Construction Committee Chairperson

Chris Ludwig - Director, Ethics and Governance Committee Chairperson

Michael Kennedy - Director

Prior to the AGM, Elizabeth Scremin announced that she would be retiring from the board along with her role as acting President, and Design and Construction Chair. Liz has been a contributor to the SHS since it’s inception before the Society was even born, or its predecessor, the Spearhead Huts Committee was founded. With her talent for project management, deep knowledge of backcountry hut construction, and background in Engineering the Kees and Claire Hut would not have been the incredible success that it has become. From the bottom of our hearts at the SHS we thank Liz for her tireless contributions and leadership for the project.
